For Presenters
Presenter Guidelines
Abstract Submission
Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words and should be structured to include:
- Title, author(s), and affiliations
- Background and objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
- Funding
Oral Presentations
- 10-minute presentation followed by 3–5 minutes of Q&A
- Selected speakers will be asked to submit their PowerPoint slides prior to the conference
- Presenters should arrive early to test A/V equipment
Poster Presentations
- Maximum size: 122 × 92 cm (48 × 36 in), landscape orientation
- Title and authors clearly visible at top
- Text should be readable from 3 metres away
- Posters must be pre-printed; organizers provide boards and mounting materials
Flash Talk
- 1 slide, 3-minute talk providing an overview of research
- Flash talk participants will also prepare and present a poster during the poster session (see specifications above for poster presentations)
